Household Tasks

Many people with disabilities have challenges performing household tasks based on the level of their disability.  At Crystal Disability and Nursing Services, we provide well trained support workers focused to not only ensure a safe, secure and healthy environment but also importantly build your capacity and skills to complete household tasks independently or to actively participate in these tasks. 

Funds provided under this section support important household tasks that NDIS participants cannot do on their own, require support or supervision to perform. Such activities may include:

• Housecleaning and similar tasks,
• Meal planning, preparation and cooking,
• Delivered meals,
• Caring for dependents,
• Banking and shopping,
• Minor home and garden maintenance,
• Assistance with specialised equipment for household tasks,
• Group training/courses in domestic tasks, and
• Individualised training/skill development in domestic tasks
